Terms and Conditions - UK


In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context specifies otherwise:

  1. VFS Worldwide Holdings Limited, means “VFS Global” including its successors, assigns and representatives.
  2. "Privilege Card” means a multi-service package program card issued to a VFS Global Privilege Member by VFS Global where a unique membership number is given to every Privilege member.
  3. "Privilege Member(s)” means a Privilege customer, who is enrolled as a member of VFS Global Privilege program holding a valid Privilege card/membership number. Membership to the program is governed by the rules set by VFS Global for the program, which are subject to change.
  4. "Privilege Membership Account/Privilege Membership” means the account where the Privilege Member's Service Packs will be accumulated.
  5. "VAC" - means the Visa Application Centre where the Privilege Member visits to make his/her Visa application.
  6. "VFS Global Privilege Partners" means the partners with whom VFS Global has tie-ups for a certain set of services/facilities/offer/privileges to be provided to the Privilege Members.
  7. "Privilege Service" means the services as enlisted by VFS Global in the Privilege Card Pack and as communicated from time to time. The services listed are subject to availability at the VACs and subject to changes at various centres.
  8. "Privilege Service Pack(s)" means the periodical service package purchased, issued and maintained by VFS Global for the Program, containing the Privilege Services currently available in the Program and issued by VFS Global.
  9. "Program” means the Privilege multi-service package program, managed and operated by VFS Global offering benefits, facilities or arrangements to Privilege Members by reason of their membership into VFS Global Privilege program, whereby Privilege Service packages are purchased by Privilege Members within VFS Global network and such Privilege services may be used by the Privilege Member for the fulfillment of services through the VAC Network Locations.
  10. "Redemption" means any activity, which results in the fulfillment of Privilege Services by a Privilege Member or Privilege Pack Services purchased by Privilege Members from VFS Global network.
  11. "VFS Global Network" shall mean direct corporate website http://www.vfsglobal-privilege.com or independent third party responsible for the sale of the Privilege Service Package to the Privilege Members.
  12. "Working Days” means the period from Monday to Friday and from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
General Conditions

  1. The Privilege Member agrees that by entering his/her Privilege number or by using the Privilege Card at www.vfsglobal-privilege.com or the VAC or at any Privilege Network Partners, he/she is deemed to have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of the Program and agrees to be contacted by the Privilege Call-Centre or its tele-marketer for the purpose of its Visa Application Processing business, and confirms that he/she is bound by these Terms and Conditions and any changes to it from time to time and such other terms as specified from VFS Global from time to time.
  2. Membership into VFS Global Privilege Program is voluntary.
  3. VFS Global reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions and such changes shall be deemed effective immediately upon posting of the modified Terms and Conditions on www.vfsglobal-privilege.com Members’ continued holding of the Privilege Membership Account following the posting of changes on www.vfsglobal-privilege.com will indicate their acceptance for changes.
  4. Privilege membership registration is valid for the lifetime to the Privilege Members unless terminated in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. Privilege membership registration allows members to purchase specific service packages as offered by VFS Global from time to time.
    Privilege members can buy various service packs, at the price as mentioned on their respective country websites. The specific services included in individual service packs would be valid for the term as mentioned in the pack, and need to be renewed at the end of the said term at the price prevalent at the time. Unused services mentioned in the specific service package will not be carried forward beyond their validity date.
  5. Privilege Membership Account is not a payment medium or payment instrument.
  6. Privilege Membership is non-transferable, except as specified in the Terms and Conditions. Privilege Services are non-negotiable, non-redeemable by cash and cannot be gifted, awarded or rewarded to any person other than the Privilege Member himself.
  7. Privilege Members will be personally liable for any and all costs, taxes, charges, claims or liabilities of whatever nature arising from the provision or availability of benefits, facilities or arrangements provided or made available to a Privilege Member, by Privilege Partners, as a result of his/her membership in the Program. The Privilege Member shall indemnify and hold VFS Global, its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint venture partners and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney’s fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of the breach of the Terms and Conditions of the Program or violation by the Privilege Member of any law of any country or the rights of a third party.
  8. The Privilege card at all times remains the property of VFS Global, which reserves the right, at any time in its absolute discretion and without giving notice to such member, to deactivate the Privilege Membership. The Privilege Member must return or destroy his/her Privilege card without delay, whenever requested by VFS Global, and in such circumstances he/she cannot redeem the Privilege services, which will automatically expire.
  9. VFS Global will endeavour to ensure that the services, benefits, facilities and arrangements as expressed or advertised by the Privilege Partners will be available to the Privilege Members. However, VFS Global will not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, arising from the provision or non-provision, whether whole or part, of any such services, benefits, facilities or any other arrangements by the Privilege Partners.
  10. When a Privilege Member seeks to use or obtain any of the services, benefits, facilities and arrangements as offered by the Privilege Partner, the provisions of such services, benefits, facilities or arrangements will be subject to the respective Terms and Conditions of the Privilege Partner, being the provider of the said benefits, facilities and arrangements.
  11. VFS Global shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from termination or change of the Program or any of its facilities, benefits or arrangements, including without limitation, Privilege Partner's withdrawal or the withdrawal or limiting of any such services, benefits or facilities, which are made available to the Privilege Members.
  12. The Program of Privilege may be modified at the sole discretion of VFS Global from time to time without intimation to the Privilege Member.
  13. VFS Global shall not be liable in the event it fails to fulfill any of its obligations under the Terms and Conditions due to flood, earthquake, storm, cyclone or any other acts of God or acts of similar nature, war, strike, lockout, or governmental or judicial or quasi-judicial policies/intervention/direction/prohibition or change in law, or for any other reasons beyond its control.
  14. A waiver of any of the Terms and Conditions by VFS Global shall not be deemed to be a continuing waiver, but shall apply solely to the instances to which the waiver is directed.
  15. A Privilege Card shall be accepted only at the locations identified in the list provided to the Privilege Members at www.vfsglobal-privilege.com VFS Global can, at any time without intimation to the Privilege Members, add and/or delete Privilege Partners from such list. The same shall be updated on www.vfsglobal-privilege.com
  16. If there is any change in the contact details (mobile number/email ID/address) of a Privilege member, from what has been registered with Privilege, the member must update the respective contact details with Privilege immediately either through the Privilege website, mobile apps, contact centre or any other channels to avoid any misuse of Privilege services. VFS Global shall not be liable for any loss of services or other relevant damages incurred by the member, if necessary details are not updated with Privilege on time.
  17. All Privilege Service(s) dispute complaints older than 45 Working Days from the date of the transaction will not be entertained. The Privilege Member must provide proof of transaction as required to register any Privilege Service(s) dispute.
  18. The Privilege Member acknowledges and understands that Privilege is merely an intermediary and does not assume any liability or acquire any right, title or interest in the Service(s). VFS Global Privilege program is only engaged in the management of the Services displayed in the Privilege Service Package Catalogue; however, all the Services offered by the VACs and Partners to the Members directly are subject to availability.

    The VFS Global Privilege program e-card is exclusively provided by VFS Global to its customers. By being a privileged member, VFS Global neither confirms nor guarantees issuance of Visa by any Mission Countries. Membership to the VFS Global Privilege program is voluntary by the customer/client. The customer/client/ Privileged Member acknowledges that issuance of Visa is at the discretion of the embassy of the respective countries and agrees not to hold VFS Global responsible or liable for the same.
  19. VFS Global Visa Application Centres covered through the Program in the UK, cater to the following countries: Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria and Netherlands. The appropriate service(s) can only be availed by the members of VFS Global Privilege program (i.e. Gold Privilege Membership, Silver Privilege Membership, Bronze Privilege Membership and Student Privilege Membership) of the countries presented above.
Enrolment to the Program

  1. It is the Privilege Members' responsibility to share the correct communication details with VFS Global Privilege program at the time of enrolling to the Program. VFS Global shall not be responsible to ascertain authenticity or accuracy of the information provided by the Privilege Member. It shall be the duty of the Privilege Member to ensure that the information provided to VFS Global is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
  2. Prospective Privilege Members can enrol to the program at select VFS Global Privilege program partner outlets or on http://www.vfsglobal-privilege.com by filling in the registration form. Privilege Partners may also enrol prospective Privilege Members to the program.
  3. VFS Global Privilege shall reserve the right to offer the program by invitation to any Prospective Privilege Members as it may deem fit. Membership to the Program is at the sole discretion of VFS Global Privilege, and it may refuse membership to any applicant without assigning any reason.
  4. Each VFS Global Privilege program member can have a maximum of one Privilege Card at any point of time, unless otherwise specified. If a Privilege Member is found to have multiple memberships in the Program, VFS Global Privilege may choose to restrict any of the Privilege Membership.
  5. If a VFS Global Privilege Member holds more than one Privilege Card, it is advisable that the Privilege Member calls ‘VFS Global Privilege Contact Centre’ requesting an account aggregation. VFS Global on such request shall cancel such card(s) which the Privilege Member does not want to retain and transfer the Privilege Points, earned (if any), into a single Privilege Membership Account.
Use of Privilege Card and Privilege Membership

  1. By using his/her Privilege Card and/or stating his/her VFS Global Privilege membership number to VFS Global and/or any Privilege Partners, a Privilege Member grants his/her consent to VFS Global for creating, storing, maintaining, processing and updating the Privilege Member’s personal data. Such data shall include membership data (like name, address, telephone number, mobile number, date of birth, areas of interest, preferences etc. as provided by the Privilege Member), usage data (including without limitation, transactions and Privilege Service(s) accrued at various Privilege Network and Privilege Partners, etc.), and data concerning contacts with VFS Global (including without limitation, enquiry regarding membership) for the purpose of providing relevant information and customer services to the Privilege Member in connection with the Program. All data relating to the Privilege Members shall be protected and used by VFS Global in the manner as indicated in VFS Global’s Privacy Policy. Provision of personal information is voluntary. Please note, however, that a refusal to provide personal information may limit or affect ability of VFS Global to provide the Program.
  2. If any VFS Global Privilege member loses the Privilege card, he/she must inform ‘VFS Global Privilege Contact Centre’ immediately. Till such time the loss has been reported to VFS Global, VFS Global shall not be liable for any losses incurred by misuse of such Privilege Card. A new Privilege Card will be issued to such Privilege Member on request after blocking and cancellation of the old Privilege Card and after due and proper verification by VFS Global. The fresh Privilege Card will indicate a fresh Privilege Card number, however, all other Privilege Membership Account details and the Privilege Points will continue to be retained as it is.
Termination of VFS Global Privilege program membership

  1. A VFS Global Privilege program member may terminate his/her Privilege membership by calling ‘VFS Global Privilege Contact Centre’ and requesting for the termination. The Privilege Member shall provide the required credentials vis-a-vis customer information already provided by the Privilege Member.
  2. The Membership fee once paid by the Member is non-refundable. If any member wishes to terminate the membership immediately after availing or after a certain period of time, in any case the same is non-refundable.
  3. Misuse of the Privilege card or the membership benefits may result in termination of the membership or withdrawal of benefits at the sole discretion of VFS Global.
  4. Disqualification of VFS Global Privilege Member, arising out of his/her misconduct, fraud and misuse of Privilege Service(s) or acts in a manner inconsistent with any central/state/local laws, statutes or ordinances, may result in immediate termination of Privilege membership and cancellation of all Privilege Service(s). Any Privilege Member, so disqualified, shall not be entitled to redeem his Privilege Service(s) after such disqualification.
  5. Upon the death of a Privilege Member, his/her Privilege membership account will be closed and all outstanding Privilege Service(s) will expire.

  1. Settlement of disputes as per the Terms and Conditions, set herein, shall be governed by the laws of respective jurisdiction from where the services are rendered. All disputes arising under the Terms and Conditions shall be attempted to be resolved through negotiations. Only in case, such negotiations are unsuccessful, the Member shall resort to legal recourse, which shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the respective jurisdictions only. All claims and disputes arising under the Terms and Conditions should be notified to VFS Global within 45 working days from the event date after which no Privilege Member shall have any claim against VFS Global.
  2. VFS Global or its Parent Company shall have the right to transfer, assign and sell in any manner, in whole or in part, the Program to any third party of its choice without reference or intimation to the Privilege Members.
  3. VFS Global Privilege program membership enrolment and purchase of Privilege Service packs, claiming Privilege Services, availability of Privilege Rewards and redemption are subject to the Terms and Conditions, herein, and are subject to any applicable laws and regulations.
  4. VFS Global reserves the right to terminate the Program, by giving 30 working days’ notice to all the Privilege Members.
  5. Upon termination or withdrawal of the Program, all Privilege Members will be given 30 working days’ time within which they may use the Privilege Points in their Privilege Membership Account to request for Privilege Service pack(s), after which the Privilege services will be purged or cancelled.
  6. Privilege and Privilege Partners shall not be liable to any Privilege Member or his/her nominee or companion, for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expense of any kind whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with VFS Global Privilege program, including the functioning of the helpline and/or www.vfsglobal-privilege.com and/or provision or the refusal to provide any benefits, whether such loss, damage or expense is caused by the negligence or otherwise, and whether VFS Global and/or any of its Privilege Partners have any control over the circumstances giving rise to the claim or not.
  7. Every VFS Global Privilege program member acknowledges, represents and warrants that he is the sole and exclusive owner of his Privilege card and the only authorized user of his Privilege account's Username and Password. Privilege member also accepts the sole responsibility to keep his Privilege card account details confidential. He is responsible for all the request placed and other activities in the account (like profile changes, address change).
  8. VFS Global will not ask for the Privilege Member’s password and other details through any e-mail or SMS. Please beware of spam mails and phishing, and do not share your VFS Global Privilege program membership account details with email ID which appear to be coming from the unauthorized sources.
